They currently have over 2.5GW of projects across 5 ISO's with 2 models of greenfield and acquiring mid-stage. The Director of Development will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of projects mid-stage throughout NTP
- Negotiate contracts with EPCs for project construction
- Attend board meetings to action on funding plans
- Negotiate with land owners when necessary to develop from greenfield
- Manage projects at the utility-scale across multiple assets such as solar, BESS, wind
- Help build business processes and develop a team culture
- Lead from the front with new and existing projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent
- Must have 5 years minimum of experience in project development
- Ideally utility-scale, open to DG/Community
- Must have brought projects through to NTP in multiple ISO's
- Specifically have had projects in SPP, MISO, PJM, or WECC
- A good person, driven, and entrepreneur that is ready to be challenged!
